Grandma, knowing that you are not with us physically is a hard reality to bare, the memories of being with Holly and i at our wedding, playing the organ without reading the music was always fascinating and that painted to Holly and i a clear picture of how resilient, graceful, gentle and kind you have been to all of us your family.
I am thankful to have been able to talk to you the day before you went to be with the lord, thanks to Holly for making that happen, it hurt my heart that you were in pain and i prayed that there should be no more pain for you. To Grandpa, Holly and i are here for you just as well as the rest of the family out here and in the U.S we love you and pray for God's strength to help you face everyday knowing that he knows what is best for us and that he guides our every step and direction.
May grandma's soul rest in eternal peace. Amen

To the entire Lubbers Family especial Ken and Michelle Elzinga and particularly my dear sister in law Holly, through whom I met Grandma Ruth Lubbers in 2018 in Michigan and shared a lovely evening of music with Grandma Ruth playing her favourite hymns on the footpiano and us singing along. Radiant and calm and yet with all that she was going through in her health, I was left with one thought, how remarkable this was that she picked all the notes for the memory of her feet and spirit.
I am sure of one thing, she is in haven with the saints and doing more of this.
May all who knew her, be comforted by the fact that her love for worship to God is more of what she has gone to continue doing, we who are in Christ do not mourn like unbelievers, be that as it may.her passing leaves a huge loss to the entire family , my prayers and thoughts are with you all especially Grandpa Lubbers.
