Sharon Ozinga, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Gertrude Blanker; brother, Roger Blanker; and nephew, Shawn Helms.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 57 years, Morris Ozinga; children Mike (Juli) Ozinga, Kate (Chip) Henline; grandchildren Elizabeth Henline, Trey Henline, Alli Oetman; great-grandson Levi; siblings James (Sue) Blanker, Mary (Bud) McWilliams; brother-in-law, Bernard (Lynda) Ozinga; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sharon loved her summer place on Glen Lake where she was considered a “Dock Diva.” She enjoyed traveling, spending winters on Anna Marie Island, and being a grandmother.
Visitation with Sharon’s family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at First Reformed Church of Byron Center, 8425 Byron Center Ave. SW, Byron Center. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the visitation.
