Susan Luna was a badass. She could back up a Camaro going 20 mph. The police were called when she was seen slalom skiing nine months pregnant. She was notoriously kind, but didn’t take shit from anyone. Above all else, she was an artist, meticulous and magical. She added beauty and love into the world. She was a revered, strong, and loved matriarch. She cheated death twice, but lived with chronic pain for 40 years. Her strength was immeasurable. She’s on to her next adventure, free of pain and suffering. Effective today there will be no shoes allowed on the carpet in Heaven.
She is preceded in death by her father, Delancey; mother, June; and brother, Ken. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughters Cyndi (Baye), and Lisa; son, Troy; grandchildren Kalli, Chase, Trevor, Bella, Koren, and Dallas; brother, Tom (Lynn); and many nieces and nephews.
Susan didn’t want a funeral (badass); she said honor her memory by adding some art, magic, love, or bad-assery of your own into the world today.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. In memory of Susan and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice. The family welcomes memories and messages at www.cookcaresbyron.com.
