Edward Ed, Eddie J. Rybarski

Edward J. Rybarski, age 83, lifetime resident of Calumet City passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Eddie is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years, Berniece (nee Mills); daughter, Eileen (DeWitt) Black of Charlotte, NC and son, Steve (partner Sandra Hernandez) of Hammond IN; 4 grandchildren; Jay (Leslie), Kyle, and Rachel Black all of Charlotte. NC and Stephanie (Rick )Rybarski- Bradley of Strasburg, PA; 4 great grandchildren ; Dillan, Daisy, Adam and Summer of Strasburg, PA. Surviving sisters Agnes Janik of Calumet City IL and Adeline Glanowski of Anderson, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Anthony and Agnes Rybarski; siblings Julia Cwik, Jessie Golec, Anthony and Chester Rybarski.

Eddie was a Korean War Veteran serving with the Army Corps of Engineers, 1952-54. retired from Lever Bros. in 1990 after 40 years of service.

Ed will be missed by family and friends and his favorite dog," Lucky."

Funeral will be held at Hennessy-Nowak Funeral Home 400 Pulaski Rd. (154th St.) Calumet City on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville, IN.
