To family of Mr Butler.. My thoughts and prayers for your loss.  Mr Butler you were such a great and inspiring teacher...your spirit LIVES on...

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Butler's passing.  He was a tremendous teacher with his humility and kindness for his students.  I was a good student and tried hard and he said the kindest thing a teacher has ever said to me.  On the last day of class as I was leaving he pulled me aside and thanked me for trying so hard in his class.  He said if all the students could be like me, he'd pay to teach.  That's the kind of person he was.  To take a kid from a broken home and make sure I excelled so that I could be a success was a tremendous gift that comes from a true hero.  His encouragement is something all teachers should aspire to.  We lost a great one with Mr. Butler and I wish all peace and blessings to his family and loved ones.

Just got the news.  My heartfelt sympathy to his family. He was a wonderful man and teacher. Was my teacher in the 70's.  May GOD comfort you all in this difficult time.

My prayers go out to his family. Mr Butler was my physics teacher at T.F. North, 28 years ago. I will never forget his teaching style. He was an asset to TFN.

One of my fondest memories of my high school teachers resides in this kind man.  My condolences to his family and to all who adored the now late, but still great, Mr. Butler!

My sincere condolences to family and friends.  I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Butler's passing.  He was my chemistry and physics teacher at TF North.  His classes helped me discover my love of science.  I went on to major in physics in college, and Mr. Butler so kindly agreed to be a mentor on a public service project.  He was very encouraging, and I remember him fondly.

Rest in peace, Mr. Butler and prayers for your family.  You were always such a kind teacher.
