Beloved wife of the late Lawrence; loving mother of the late Lawrence "Larry", the late John, and Bernard "Bernie" (Carolyn); devoted grandmother of Caroline Giovingo, Germaine (Jerry) Priest, Thomas (Sheila) Giovingo, Michelle (Garhardt) Robb, Susan (Stewart) Middendorf, John Giovingo, Jenny (Greg Mino) Giovingo, Christine Giovingo, Angela (Dave) Stocco, Michael (Deanna) Giovingo, and Marc (Molly) Giovingo; proud great grandmother of Anthony, Angelo, Victoria, Matthew, Nicholas, Jonathon, Christopher, Jessica, Thomas John, Alexander, Savannah, Kate, Becca, Ryan, Genaro, Annabella, Gabriella, Marianna, Dominick, Elijah, Grace, Isabella, and Gabriel; former mother-in-law to Rose Jackson and Ann Tirpak; aunt to wonderful nieces and nephews; and a treasured friend to many. Mrs. Giovingo was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaGrange and the South Side Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Hennessy-Nowak Funeral Home, 400 Pulaski Road (154th St.), Calumet City, IL. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
