It is with heavy hearts that we announce Arthur's passing on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family at the age of 86. Beloved husband to Jennie (nee Tower) of 56 years. Loving father to Bruce (Brenda), Gord (Connie) and Harold (Michele). Proud Grandpa to Lindy, Bruce Jr., Gordy Jr., Jennifer (Matt), Jessica, Cody, Hailey, Joshua, Amanda along with 11 Great-Grandchildren. Dear brother to Donald (Theresa), Alan (Donna), Lorry, Alyre and Paula. Arthur is predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Leona and his siblings: Norman, Raymond, Albert, Yvonne and Janet. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends. Arthur proudly served his country during the Korean war and is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 121. Arthur was an easy going man and enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved playing his guitar, building things, a game of horseshoes and just spending time with friends at his camper. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 1-5 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650). As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Arthur's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
