Mom was born in Middle Musquodoboit, near Halifax Nova Scotia on June 29, 1940 to Carleton and Mary Fisk, younger sister of Cecil (Nonie) and Francis (Robert). She moved to Ontario and began her adult life at Great West Life Insurance and was married to Ed Kozun. She had her Son Craig (Helen) and daughter Shawna (George) She later married Bob Young and had 2 sons Adam and Anthony (Tracey). Bernice has 4 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Taylor, Meghan and Jordan. She is also survived by many loving family members.
Bernice moved to St Catharines in 1975 and became the Executive Director of the St Catharines Business College before becoming a Health Care aid. She retired and moved to Cambridge in 2009. She passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Cancer on August 28, 2025 in the Lisaard and Innisfree Hospice. A private interment and celebration of life will be held at a future date.
