Colette Monique Vilandre

August 25, 1951June 27, 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Colette's passing on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital at the age of 68.

Colette is predeceased by and together again with her beloved husband Cyril Vilandre (2007). Loving mother to Patricia Archambault, Allen Vilandre (Sylvia Randell) and Steve Vilandre. Proud Grandma to Matthew, Cory and Christopher Archambault and James McPherson. Dearest sister to Edouard Ouellette and Madeline Malette. Colette will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her extended family and friends.

Colette will be remembered for her passion for helping others. Colette was a leader within the parish community; especially with the Christmas Shoe Box Project within the Canadian Food For Children Organization for many years. Colette loved playing guitar and writing music for the Children's Choir at St. Joseph's Church for over 20 years and will be remembered for the many events in which she organized.

Relatives and friends will be invited to view a live broadcast of the Funeral Mass via Facebook Live by visiting the Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Facebook page on Friday July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow and the live broadcast will resume once we arrive at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Colette's memory to Canadian Food for Children would be greatly appreciated.

A special thank you to the wonderful doctors and nurses of Cambridge Memorial Hospital. The care and compassion you showed towards Colette and our family are appreciated more than words can say.

So saddened to hear of Colette’s passing. I will miss Colette’s presence and guidance at Sunday Mass. A beautiful soul, full of love and faith, ascended to heaven, away from us, but closer to God. I give my condolences to the entire family.
