Doris Johnston

With heavy hearts Doris’s (Dorie’s) family announce her death on June 25 at home. Wife of the late Geoffrey Johnston and beloved Mother to Scott (Maria) and Julia (David Tychie). Grandmother to Scott and Maria’s children, Daniel and Alexander, Sister to Rita King (Ted) and Audrey Willis (James, deceased) and Aunt to Greg (deceased), Janet, Andrew and Rob. Doris is also survived by many friends whom she so dearly loved.

Dorie’s family would be delighted for her friends to join them for a memorial service on Wednesday July 4 at the St. James Lutheran Church, 96 Queen St. E, Cambridge (Hespeler), Ontario to celebrate the important things in Mom’s life; family, friends, laughter, gardening and reading. Please visit at 10 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM. A reception at the church will immediately follow the service. Interment of Mom’s ashes will occur at a later date.

Dorie’s family wishes to thank all of her friends and neighbours who were so kind and supportive of her over the past year and a half, especially Sylvia and Wendy.
