Dortha was born and raised in Galt, Ontario and remained a long-time resident. After retirement from her work as a secretary, she enjoyed many travelling adventures, and joined the Senior Bowling League. Dortha also volunteered at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital for 15 years. Dortha will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara Ball, sons Reid (Janet) and Rae (Glenys), 11 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years Edward Little, parents William and Florence Patrick, brothers Jack (Bessie) and Charlie (Lil), sister Irene, and son-in-law Eric Ball.
Cremation has taken place and a Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3rd at T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main Street, Cambridge) from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. Proof of full vaccination, along with government-issued ID, are mandatory to attend the indoor visitation for those age 12 and older. Masks are required. A private family committal service will follow at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. The family would like to extend a very sincere thank-you to each and every staff member at Stirling Heights for their compassionate care of Dortha over the years.
