Doug is survived by his sister Linda (Allen) Robertson, his nephew Ryan (Katerina), great nephews Brandon and Evan and Katerina's daughters Iris and Isabella. He will also be missed by his special cousin Emma Butler.
The family will be forever grateful to Detlev and Marilyn Friese and Gerard and Heather Higgins who provided endless and faithful support during Doug's many challenges. Such loyal friends!
Thank you as well to his Tutton Street neighbours for their helpfulness in Doug's time of need.
A long time employee at Canadian General Tower as a millwright, a lover of children, animals, his customized GM Truck and vacations in Newfoundland.
Cremation has taken place and Doug's ashes will be taken to Newfoundland at a later date.
Friends are invited to a visitation at T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, on Wednesday, December 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
