Passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday March 9, 2013 in his 81st. year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Billie) Turnbull. Loving father of Brenda Webb (Rod Prior) of Oakville, Deborah O’Reilly (Kevin) of Montreal, Barbara Horvath (David) of Galway N. Y., Angela Webb (Jerry Strange) of Conn. Also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and a brother Jim of B. C. Predeceased by a daughter Sandy Peterson. Douglas was born in Calgary on April 18, 1932, and has lived in Cambridge for 23 years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Friday March 15, 2013 from 10 A.M until time of memorial service at 11 A. M. As expressions of sympathy donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.
