Was ‘Called Home to Glory’, on Sunday, September 3, 2017, while surrounded by her family, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Harold for 71 years. Loving mother of Linda Barwell, Dan Whitelaw, Debbie McKellar (Tom) and Crystal O’Brien (Scott Bell) and mother in-law of Peggy Whitelaw. Proud grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 11. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Joan Plummer (Raymond) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Irene is reunited in heaven with her son Ron (2013) and siblings; Alfie, Matthew and Maxine. Visitation will be held at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5 - 7 p.m. and at Temple Baptist Church, 400 Holiday Inn Drive, Cambridge on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 12 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow.
