Worked with Filipe for 47 years, started at Canadian Metal Rolling Mills in 1973. He wasn't just a work mate, he was my friend. I will remember him forever. RIP

Well where do I start.. it seems words are not enough and don't come easy when we lose a loved one. Uncle Phillip as i called him was the guy you could always get a laugh out of, even though i'm in Australia and he was in Canada he was always the guy that was behind aunt Mary in out video conversations ready to put his two cents in.
He was a loving man who loved his wife my aunt Mary and his two children Dom and Carmen, he loved his animals and watching sport on TV ( and his cigarettes).
I don't have many memories of my uncle Phillip so that makes it hard for me to write about him. I love you uncle Phillip and may you rest in peace.

Uncle Phil has always been a huge part of my life, you became a uncle to Henry .
And then when we had children you became a “hands on “uncle to Rebecca and Daniel we will truly miss him
One of his saying was
“How are you tomorrow , not bad yesterday “
Love you xx

It was always great to catchup with Uncle Fil via an online chat. Always laughs. Had such a great time when we had a chance to spend 10days with him and Aunty Mary during Christmas 2015. He just couldn’t do enough to help us to feel at home there.
Will miss you xxxoooxxx
