BRETT, Frances May (Pendle) – left us on March 02, 2026, to go to a place of comfort and serenity. Beloved wife of the late Dick Brett, whom she cherished for her lifetime. Mom was devoted to her son Jeffery and Alisha of Innerkip and to Susan, her daughter in Southampton, Ontario. Wonderful and loving Grandma to Brittany and Michael and Chloe. She is also a Great-Grandma to Reiley and Carter.
Mom is predeceased by Samuel and Fanny Thompson and brothers George, Charles (Hap), and Walter Pendle.
She began her life career with the WCBE at GCI, as a young woman still in high school. Hall monitor, detentions, some of you might remember her.
She then succeeded to Southwood Secondary High School, and then onto Glenview Park Secondary School, where she finished out her career with magnificent co-workers and peers that infused her life with happiness and friendships that lasted her lifetime.
At Mom’s request, there will be no funeral or celebration of life, but a small, intimate family gathering.
