Fred Mortimer White

Passed away peacefully as he wished at his home in Cambridge, on Friday, December 30, 2016 in his 86th year. The most loving husband of Gale White. Dear Dad of William (Kim) Bent, Sharon White, Craig (Catherine) White, Christine (Richard) Arcand, Wendy Ashworth, Fred (Joan) White, Melanie (Jim) Mumby, Debbie (Derek) Kelly, Chris (Valerie) Bent. He is also survived by his 31 grandchildren and 16.5 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, George White, Beverley (Les) Roberts, Vera (Heldon) White, Herb (Carol) White, Dianne Villeneuve. He will also be remembered by his mother-in-law Marjorie Robertson, sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara (John) Jasik, Gregory (Mary anne) Robertson, Heather (Andrew) Mason. He was predeceased by his parents Albert & Louise White, first wife Yvonne Muriel White, son Brian White, brothers and sisters Stanley White, Earl (Clare) White, Marjorie White, Mildred (Russell) Mullen, Arthur (Lynda) White, Helen (Ray) Vickory, Lorraine (Ray) Legault, William (Margaret) White, Mary White (In Infancy), Roy White (In Infancy), Muriel White (In Infancy), father-in-law Jack Robertson and brother-in-law Douglas Robertson. Fred was honored to have served his country in the Korean War. Friends and family will be received at COUTTS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge N1S 1M8 on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held at a later date and will be published on the funeral homes website.
