Frederick "Fred" Emberson

Born December 5th, 1935 in Guelph Ontario. Passed away on October 24th, 2011 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Beverly (nee Gadsby), his daughter Sherrie Miller (Alan) of Sheffield, his son Rick (Becky) of Paris, his son Rob (Sandra) of Holstein, and his daughter Lorri Zimmerman (Paul) of Princeton. “CRAZY PAPA” of 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, brother of Doreen Felice (Joe) of Guelph, Helen Nickason (Nick) of Cambridge, Peggy James (Cliff) of PEI, Bob Emberson (Lillian) of Cambridge, nephew of Grace Vincent of Guelph and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents “Red” and “Bea”, his brothers John and David, sister Marjorie Bedford, and his son Randy (1995). Longtime member of the Chaparrals and other musical groups. Music was his passion and he always made everyone laugh, EH?! Friends will be received at COUTTS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE 96 St. Andrews Street Cambridge (519 621 1650) on Thursday October 27th for visitation from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday October 28th at 1pm. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
