Peacefully, in his sleep, at the age of 102 3/4, at Stirling Heights Long Term Care in Cambridge, Ontario.
Loving husband for 68 years to his high school sweetheart, the late Frances ("Bud") Lenore Laird Best (his beloved "My Girl"). Cherished son and brother, dear Uncle, Great Uncle, Great Great Uncle, and friend to many.
Proud Veteran of WWII, graduate of Babson College, respected businessman, world traveller, urban urbanite, Rotarian, and Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
He always had a positive outlook on life that has inspired many of us over the years..."Top shelf, Grade A, Couldn't be better!"
A celebration of his life will be held at the Stirling Heights LTC, 200 Stirling MacGregor Dr, Cambridge, on Wednesday, April 19th at 2:00pm.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Rotary Foundation (Canada) would be appreciated.
