Loving father of Barbara Leverette and her husband Ken , Bruce and his wife Grace, Alan and his wife Diane, all of Cambridge. Also survived by his grandchildren Chris (Andrea), Amy (Mat), Alysha (Alex), Steven, Kyle and Ian. Predeceased by his parents Wesley and Gertrude McNeil, his wife Jean MacKenzie, his brother David and sister Dorothy Wilson. Russ was born at Lansdowne, Ontario on November 9, 1922 and has lived in Cambridge for over 70 years. Since 1956, he has had the family business of McNeil Auto Supply.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Saturday March 21, 2015 from 10 am until Memorial Service time at 11 am.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
