KOENDERINK, Grace; It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Grace (Nee Blom) on Friday, November 23rd, 2012 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in her 76th year. Cherished wife of Casey, of 56 wonderful years. United once again with loving son Douglas (1997) (Kathy). Beloved mother of Ronald (Susan), Kenneth (Anne), Edward (Mary), Andrew (Tammy) and Anthony. Proud Oma to 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Harmen (Anstice), Albert (Donna), Gerry (Kathy), Wouter (Eunice) and Ida (Ted). Grace is predeceased by her parents and one sister (in infancy). She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Grace was a very talented dress maker, gardener, cook and carpenter and her talents will live on within her family. Friends and family will be received at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) on Monday, November 26th, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will take place the following day Tuesday, November 27th, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Cambridge Memorial Hospital – MRI Fund, or to a charity of your choice, and would be greatly appreciated. Special thank you to the home care nurses of CCAC, along with the doctors and nurses of Cambridge Memorial Hospital who cared for Grace during her final hours.
