Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the age of 80, surrounded by the love of his family. Now reunited once again with beloved daughter Heidi (1985) and daughter-in-law Sandra Franck (1997). He will be always loved and missed by cherished wife Theresa Marie Franck (nee Le Breton) of 53 wonderful years together. Dear father to Roy, Buddy (Alisha) and Franklin. Proud grandpa to Buddy Jr. and great-grandpa to Cassidy. Survived by three brothers and two sisters. He is predeceased by his parents Ludwig and Meta Franck. Gunter will forever be remembered as a loving father and husband. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) from 2-4 pm. A Funeral Service will take place the following day on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital – ICU and would be greatly appreciated.
