Passed away suddenly at his daughter’s home where he had been residing for the past 6 months, on Saturday, January 25, 2014, in his 87 year. Loving dad of Steven Milbrandt and Judy Milbrandt (George), all of Kitchener. Survived by his sisters, Mary Humphries (Ernie), Betty Thiessen (Jake -deceased), Joyce Cook (George) and several nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by his beloved dog, Peekabelle. Predeceased by his wife Shirley (nee Near) Milbrandt and sister Audrey Rosenblath. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
