Passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.
Isabel was born and raised in Galt where she spent 90 years before moving to a retirement home in Kitchener.
Every Wednesday for 55 years, she gave her time as a volunteer at the information desk of the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Isabel was a lifelong member of Central Presbyterian Church where she worked on the Carol Singer Dolls for decades. She was an expert bridge player and had countless hours of fun with family and friends playing card games of all types. Isabel’s famous butter tarts and shortbread have sweetened the lives of many.
Predeceased by husbands, Art Mills, Harry Kaiser, daughter Maureen MacDonald, and brothers William and Jim Walker.
Cherishing the memories of Mom, Nana, Grandma, and Great-Grandma will be her children, Bob and Chris of London, Janet and Daryl Conly of Waterloo, and John MacDonald of Oakville; and her grandchildren and their families, Craig (Michelle) MacDonald and Jackson, Parker, and Miles, Blair (Teresa) MacDonald and Morgan and Brooke, Jaime Mills (Jamie King), Jeff (Jeannette) Mills and Emily, Virginia (Graham) Baechler and Liam, Aiden, and Gwyneth, Steven Conly, and Scott Conly.
