I have the fondest memories of Isabel, first as my guide leader and later as my church pew mate. She had the best laugh and was always gentle and kind. She was dedicated to her family and her church. She always spoke of her children, grand children, great grand children and how proud she was of each of them. An amazing woman! To her family, thank you for sharing her. I have been so fortunate to had her positive influence in my life. Rest in peace Isabel, you were so loved.

I have been very fortunate to be a niece of Aunt Isabel, & have wonderful life long memories of this special lady. I spent countless, carefree days when growing up at Aunt Isabel & Uncle Gordon's house with many cousins playing outside, & having wonderful adventures. I never once saw Aunt Isabel raise her voice, lose her temper, or say an unkind word to anyone. Some days there were 8 or more children there. Aunt Isabel was giving, loving, patient, kind, & caring, a beautiful role model to be a positive influence on all of us. As my friend Lynda mentioned, we went to visit Aunt Isabel recently & had a wonderful time with her. She knew everyone in the many pictures in her room, & shared some of her memories of them. When our visit finished she walked us down the hall, & showed us how quickly she could move with her walker. ( very quick ) At the elevator we told her we loved her & said we would come back soon. She was happy, & said she loved us too. Thanks for your wonderful example to all of us, as children & adults. I Love you Auntie Isabel Xoxo, from your grateful niece Barbara ( always called me by my full name )

I always will remember her smile and positive attitude. My last visit with her was with Barb just a few weeks ago. What a great time we had, looking at all her pictures and the stories she told about all the pictures. Her face really glowed when we would come across a picture of her husband Gordon. I have known Isabel for many years. I will remember her with much affection and love. My love and prayers to the Lynes family.
