Passed away peacefully on August 11th, 2013 at St. Luke’s place in his 86th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary (nee Rider)(2012). Cherished dad to David (Sheila), Kim (John) and Janice (Neil). Beloved grandpa to Jack, Andrew, Kathleen, Bridget, Alyssa, Katie, Samantha and Eliza. John served as a Police Officer with the Toronto Metropolitan Police Force for 34 years. Private family services to take place. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
