Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday August 2, 2016 in his 86th year. Beloved father of Sandra Maio ( Mike) of Cambridge. Also survived by grandchildren Melissa Barrett (Dave), Michael (Kayla), and great grandchildren Caitlin and Samantha. Predeceased by his wife Miriam, his parents Hartley and Gladys Stewart and sisters Velma and Norma. Fred was a member of Galt Swinging Eight Square Dance Club. Cremation has taken place. Private family services were held. As expressions of sympathy donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
