Married for 57 years, Janos was a devoted partner and a loving father to Thomas (Amanda) Sándor. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and all who knew him.
János had a passion for stained glass and was an avid reader. He dedicated over 30 years as a bus driver with the City of Hamilton. In 1956, he bravely immigrated to Canada during the Hungarian Revolution, building a life rooted in hard work and resilience.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held.
