Babs died peacefully on Monday January 10, 2011 in her 87th year. Loving mother of Mary Hethey (Rick) of Vancouver B.C., Robert Dietrich (Lisa) and Janet Hendrie (Geordie) of Toronto. Fondly remembered by eight grandchildren, Charles (Randi) and James Hethey, Andrew, Diana and John Dietrich and Jeanie, Alice and George Hendrie. Predeceased by her husband Jerome and her sisters Joan, Mary and Peggy. Born in Nelson B.C., Babs graduated from the University of Saskatchewan and moved to Toronto where she met her husband Jerome. Babs spent her married life in Cambridge, Ontario where she was an active member of Knox’s Galt Presbyterian Church, IODE, and other community and charitable organizations.
Friends will be received at T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (www.tlittlefuneralhome.com) on Thursday January 13, 2011 2-4 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday January 14, 2011 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Knox’s Galt Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
