Dear mother of Colin (Susan) and Cynthia (Neil). Dear Grandma of Kaelin (Matt) and Carson (Sara). Dear sister of Cynthia (Harold) and Carol (Ron). Predeceased by her beloved husband Douglas King, parents Victor and Gladys Kellough and sister Florence (Jack).
Jean was a farm girl from the Ottawa valley who graduated from University of Guelph in 1952, and then taught high school before moving to Cambridge ON and raising her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, travel, volunteering in the community and socializing with her many friends and family, who miss her dearly.
Special thanks to the staff at Village of Arbour Trails and the Guelph General Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Huntington Society of Canada or Cedar Hill United Church would be appreciated by the family.
