Mrs. Alsop I cannot begin to tell you how shocked I am at this unfortunate news, I will always remember your kindness and your willingness to make me realize my fullest potential. You stood up for me as a teacher and I will always remember the memories I made in your class. You will forever be missed. My condolences go out to your family! They were incredibly lucky to have you in their live's!

Thank you for being the best teacher, and swim coach I've ever had. You were there for me in every aspect of my life. You were a true mentor to me and I credit you with having a major role in my life's direction. I would not be where I am today, and more importantly, I wouldn't be the person I am today without your tremendous beneficial influence. I will miss you, and you will always be in my thoughts.

Jen was my son's teacher last semester... what a loss... am so sad... Dear Jen, God bless your soul. God bless your children.

Thank you so much for your patience and support throughout the years I had you as a teacher. Many of my best high school memories and best friendships have been made in the grade 9 and grade 11 math class I took with you. When people were around you, they felt understood, cared for, respected and loved. There is truly no greater gift you could have given. May you rest in peace forever.

Jen, was a truly beautiful person, she had a great smile and a pure heart. I was fortune enough to meet Jen in teacher's college and work with her at Erindale SS. Jen was very passionate about teaching math and students recognized the privilege they had to be in her class. She was loved by both students and teachers. 

My deepest condolence go out to the family, Bonnie, Alex, and Ben, she adored you. Please remember Jen's incredible love for you and know that she is now in the embrace of the Lord as she watches over you with love. Take comfort in knowing she is at peace.

I am deeply saddened to hear this news. I have worked with Jen over the last six years as her ND. I always enjoyed our visits, I will truly miss them. 
Her legacy will live on through her beautiful children. Allow the fond and positive memories to guide you during this sad and difficult time. Keep those memories close to your heart.

The first time I met Alsop, she was my grade 9 gym teacher. I want to thank her for being the kind of role model that all young females can look up to. She made me feel smart and important and she laughed so loud.

You were such an amazing women. I remember your energy and your laughter, it was amazing you just made everyone around you feel so happy. 
You made a bigger impact on me then you probably know with having this troubled teen to your house this one Thanksgiving. I felt so welcomed by you and your family and I was so thankful Melissa brought me. 
I remember playing that one game and having lots of laughs and man I will not forget that ham that Mark made. I'm so sad that you lost him Jen now that I am married. I know that it must have been so hard for you. Especially after adopting Ben. I couldn't imagine the pain you went through. You were such a tough and strong women as well as smiley and you won't be forgotten. Your death has been hard for a lot of people and the hardest deaths I've had to face since the death of my mom. 
My promise to you and your family is that I will pray for Ben and Alex continually.

I would like to express my deep sorrow over the passing of Jen, and specifically encourage her daughter Alex and son Ben to forever remember their mother as she is pictured -- with her sun touched hair, and glowing smile.  

I worked with Jen for a brief time while she was on the staff at Erindale Secondary School.  My daily path did not cross hers often, but when it did, it was always a pleasure to speak with her.  In my memory, it is her smile that I see.  News of her loss has touched those of us at Erindale who worked with Jen, and our hearts ache for her children.

Jen and I were roommates at Western. We swam together then backpacked through Australia and Europe together. I loved her with all my heart! Jen had a great sense of humour. She ALWAYS made me laugh. I first met Jenny when we were both very young, playing soccer for many years and attending Girl Guides where we learned how to make pastries and pie from her mom to earn our baking badges together.  I have so many great memories of growing up together, through our teenage years and into adulthood.  Her laugh and smile are things I will always remember and cherish. Bonnie and family I send you my deepest condolences.

Mrs. Alsop taught my grade 11 math class, and I will never forget how determinedly and clearly she helped me to understand the course material. Some of the best memories and friendships from my years at Cameron Heights can be traced back to her class. Mrs. Alsop, you will be dearly missed, and my classmates and I thank you for being extraordinary.

I worked with Jen at North Park SS, hired her at Brampton Centennial SS into the math department, and hired her again at Erindale SS.  Jen was a fantastic teacher and a fantastic person. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Jen, I will always remember your beautiful smile and infectious laugh. We've lost a truly kind and gentle soul. My deepest condolences to your dear family.
