Joan Margaret Craik

Passed away peacefully, while surrounded by her family, on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 89. Beloved mother of Cindy Patrick (Randy). Proud and loving Nana to Matthew Whitelaw (Katie Harding) and Aaron Whitelaw. She will also be missed by her 'grand-dog' Smokie. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and many friends. Joan is reunited with her son Calvin D. Craik Jr., mother Pearl Lowe, and her sisters Ann Bazinet and Audrey Jackson. Many will remember Joan as the "Blue Light Special Lady" at K-Mart. She will be lovingly remembered for her humour, witty nature, and profound love of her family. The family would like to thank the staff of Cambridge Memorial Hospital and Dr. Sehl for their compassionate care. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life Service will be held at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge, Ontario on Wednesday, March 22nd at 1 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by her family.
