Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27th, 2016 at Hilltop Manor at the age of 80. Loving mother to; Sharon (Alex Bencic), Deborah Coulombe, Daniel Coulombe (Melody), Sandy Spira (Kirby) and Paul Edwards (Nicole). Devoted grandma and nana to; Michael, Christina, Angela, Robert, David, Jena, Todd, Meagan, Aaron, Adam, Hailey, Mikayla and Isaac. Great grandma to fifteen with one on the way. Joan was a great lover of the outdoors, her gardens and you could always find her out for a walk. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Hilltop Manor for the compassion and care provided to Joan. Visitation will take place at Coutts Funeral Home (96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge) on Friday, April 1st, 2016 from 7 – 9 pm with a Prayer Service set to begin at 8:30. In lieu of flowers, donations directed to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
