Peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of William Joseph, loving mother of Frank (Dawn) Joseph, Michael (Holly) Joseph and Bill Joseph (Elizabeth Irwin). Dear grandmother of Jessica (Terry) Doukas, Justine Joseph (Jordan Noseworthy), Colton, Sarah, Victoria, Vander and Logan. Adored great-grandmother of Aella Johanna Doukas. Sadly missed by her sisters Jane (Ennio) Micacchi, Mia Foster and sisters and brothers-in-law Kathy (Joe) Klein, Mary (Steve) Tavaszi and Theresa Jozsef. Predeceased by her parents Koene and Johanna (Wieringa) Van Der Velde, brothers Roelof and Ronald Van Der Velde, brothers and sister-in-law Andras (Elizabeth) Jozsef and Frank Jozsef. Johanna owned and operated Eastside Daycare for 30 years. In her past time she enjoyed gardening, baking, travelling and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Friends and relatives will be received at T. Little Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and again Monday, August 27 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish prayers will be recited at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Church, 210 South Street, Cambridge on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception will be held immediately following Mass at T. Little Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Following the reception interment will be held at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
