Peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 21st, 2013. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Jessie of 64 wonderful years. Dear father to John and Maggie. Proud Papa to Jessica and Kyle. He will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Scotland and Canada. John proudly served before immigrating to Canada in the Royal Navy in Britain. Friends and family will be received at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) on Sunday, February 24th, 2013 from 3pm to 5pm. A Funeral Service will take place the following day, on Monday, February 25th, 2013 at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
