With great sadness, we announce his passing at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on January 23, 2014 in his 75th year. John was the beloved husband of Nancy for more than 51 years. Dear father of Brenda Fife (Andrew) and cherished grandfather of Courtney (Kevin MacLeod), Alexandra, and Mitchell. Andrew Gow and Catherine Walker (both residing in Scotland) James Gow (Wasaga Beach). He will also be missed by his siblings Andrew Gow and Catherine Walker (both residing in Scotland) James Gow (Wasaga Beach). Cremation has taken place and at John's request, no public services will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
