John Burton Trebelco

It is with great sadness that we announce John’s passing on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the age of 78. He is together once again with his beloved wife Lori (2008) after many years apart. Loving dad to John (Leanne) and Steven (Kimm) Trebelco and step-dad to Mike (Chrissy) Page and Leanne Alexander. Proud Grandpa to Kailey and Kira Trebelco, Matthew Trebelco, Ethan and Mackenzie Alexander and Great-Grandpa to Jaelyn Mattis. Dear brother and friend to Joan Duffy. John is predeceased by his parents Helen and Ford Trebelco. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends. John spent 32 years with the Ministry of Transportation in financial systems and administration. He was a past board member for the MS Society of Canada as well as past president of the Credit Union. Some of John’s hobbies included computer programming and golfing and fishing many years back. His greatest passion was boating on the Trent-Severn. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) from 12-1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Cremation will follow and John will later be laid to rest alongside his wife at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
