My condolences to the Cooke family.  

Lawrence and I were friends for 50 years.  He was my best buddy, we had many adventures together.   I will miss him

Nuke, Steve Stewart and Lawrence enjoying an afternoon on the Grand River.  Lawrence and I went canoeing many many times,  Lawrence was always up for an adventure.

My heart goes out to the Cooke Family.   I am so sorry.  
  
We have had the honor of knowing Lawrence for just over 40 years.  Lawrence joined us for so many gatherings over the years whether it was a BBQ, Christmas party, birthday celebration or just for a visit.   Lawrence was always kind and thoughtful,  ready for a friendly debate anytime as long as it was one of his favorite subjects.   He would just about do anything for his friends.  

I will always remember him as a great friend, with a bicycle and a backpack which was like a second layer of clothing for him.   I was aware that he struggled the last few years but was shocked to hear this news.  Lawrence deserved a better ending. 
  
Rest in Peace Lawrence, we will miss you and your laughter.

I have known Lawrence for the most of my life. We shared alot of fun, and laughter. He was a kind and gentle person, and always had a laugh or two tucked away for the right time. Loved his laughter, and the friendship we shared. I will miss him dearly. My deepest condolences to all of his family.

Lawrence was a very nice man. I knew him as a friendly face on the trail. Around the same time, and place, we would cross paths. He always had time for a conversation. My condolences. Very tragic

So sorry to the Cooke Family on the passing of Lawrence.  There are no words that will comfort you all at such a tragic loss.  Just know that we are thinking about you all and feel your pain.  Growing up as cousins, Lawrence was always at the family gatherings and always enjoyed himself.  So sad that his life ended the way it did.
