Leo Robert Cupido

March 31, 1951August 23, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear brother, Leo, at age 68 on August 23, 2019.

Loving brother of Maria Belanger (Don) and Rita Vigna. Special uncle to Jeff, Kevin (Karine), Michael (Sarah) and Rachel. Proud great-uncle to Nico. Predeceased by his dear parents Comincio and Amalia. Will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends in Sault Ste. Marie, Italy and Cambridge.

Born in Sault Ste. Marie on March 31, 1951, Leo was a private, caring man who was always devoted to family. For many years Leo was our mother's caregiver during her illness, and also to his late partner, Nancy.

Leo attended the University of Western Ontario and obtained his B.A. in Economics. He was an avid sports enthusiast, and played many competitively in his younger years. Leo enjoyed collecting old cars that sat in Mom's driveway, playing his ProLine, watching horse races and listening to late-night talk radio shows. We will really miss our brother.

At Leo's request, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Even though we hadn't seen you in awhile Leo you were missed. We think fondly about you and your kind heart. May God let his perpetual light shine upon you. Rest in peace.

I will never forget the many golf outings with Leo, Dave and Bob. Leo was a good friend, mentor and coach to me. And he was a great natural golfer. These memories of Leo and our time together will stay with me forever.
