Lorraine was a proud and loving person, honest to a fault, and had an excellent sense of humour. She loved to laugh, and had a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds. The best decision she ever made was marrying her husband of 37 years, Sigurd Hansen. He was the “beginning and the end” for her, and she remained devoted to him for the rest of her life after he passed in 1988. Lorraine will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Ingrid (John), granddaughters Bridgette and Sandra, and her grandson Daniel. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at Coutts Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
