So sorry for the loss of Peg.  She was always a part of our family from years gone by.  Peg was like another aunt and always knew me every time we met.  I will always remember Peg as a happy and loving person.  She will be missed.

It is with sad hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret “Peg” Miller on Thursday, June 28th 2018 in her 97th year. Peg was born in South Shields, UK on November 23rd, 1921 and came to Canada in 1957.

Loving Mother of Keith (Brenda), Lynn & Jeff.  Beloved wife of the late Bill Miller and the daughter of Margaret & Frederick Osborne.  Peg leaves behind 5 grandchildren – Ricky, Craig (Chrissy) , Jysin (Karima), Lisa (Wim) & Teresa (Adam). She also leaves 2 great grandchildren – Cody & Hannah.  

Peg was predeceased by 6 brothers & sisters and leaves behind sister Alma & family (Lytham St Annes, UK) and sister in law Ettie & family (South Shields, UK) .  She leaves behind many nieces & nephews, many extended family members & many friends.  She will be missed by all.


Our sincere condolences to Lynn, Keith & Brenda, Jeff, and families. We have fond and fun memories of Peg; she was one of a kind. It was a privilege to know her, and we will always remember her wit and sense of humour with a smile. She  always made the kids laugh and feel included, and our girls remember her fondly. Her faithful friendship was treasured by our mother Elsie. Imagining them together now, with Bill and Louis, maybe raising a glass. 

Peg I first met you true Lynn in Bracebridge and we sure had some good times, you will be missed by family and friends
