Peacefully on January 03 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Survived by son Dennis (Deborah), stepgranddaughters Sara (Mary) and Molly Bannerman, siblings Wilfred (Mavis) and Emmalean, and many nieces and nephews and their children. Predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Mervyn (2008), parents Wilfred S. and Esther, and siblings Douglas and Jean. To the Great Ballroom has gone a homemaker, wife, mother, businesswoman, skater, volley ball player, curler, artist, knitter, ESL teacher, community volunteer; bridge, euchre and scrabble player; Women’s Cambridge PROBUS Charter Member, and onetime war worker. Visitation at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 09, followed by celebration of life at 12:00.
