Dear Donald, Eian and your precious family,
Over 20 years ago your mother became a neighbor. Like everything else she did in her life she became much more than a neighbor to our family.
She was like a mother to me, sharing baking tips, advice and some very memorable outings.
I would like to share a memory with you. The last shopping trip to the mall was a full day event. She started out in Sears looking for an elegant housecoat. I was busy helping her look and turned around and she was gone.
How did I lose her in a wheelchair. I found her encased under a rack feeling the material of the housecoats. Yes, she found one on her own. Next she wanted to go to Bowrings. I was very nervous because there was not enough room in the isles ( filled with glass merchandise) for a wheelchair. Again, she just got that determine look on her face called the sales clerk and proceeded  to get everything she wanted. She had such an endearing way about her, no one could refuse to help her.
She will always have a very special place in my heart and I will truly miss her.
