Norma Edith Laskey

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother while vacationing in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic on Monday, November 1, 2021 in her 72nd year.

Beloved wife of the late Keith Laskey, loving mother of Kimberlea Laskey and husband Bryan Alberton, Stephen Keith (predeceased), Sandra Farquharson and husband Paul, Terri-Lynn Laskey and husband Jeff van der Maden. Devoted grandmother to Tristan Alberton, Kenzie, Benjamin and Addison Farquharson, Owen and Avery van der Maden. Dear sister to Kenneth (Ruth) de Molitor and Elaine (Peter) Hoyer. Predeceased by parents Cecil and Verna de Molitor.

Keith and Norma had lived in Cambridge since 1972. She worked at the Royal Bank of Canada from the late 1970's until her retirement in 2009. Over that period of time, she helped numerous clients manage their finances. Norma was a committed Christian and has been a part of the Forward Church family since 1973.

Family and friends will be received at Forward Church, 55 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, Ontario N1R 5S2 on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm and Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 1:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 2:00 pm. All guests attending Norma's funeral service registration is required, please click link provided https://signup.com/go/RBafjTr. To attend the visitation you do not need to register, be prepared to provide your name and number at the door. All visitors will be required to wear a mask. The service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend. A link to view Norma's funeral service will be made available on this site. Interment New Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Coping Centre.
