Olivera Nakarada

Passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly, at her home in Cambridge on Friday, April 3, 2026. Beloved wife of Mirko Nakarada for 66 beautiful years. Loving mother of Bob (Lucy) and Maria (Mark). Cherished Nana of Luke, Grace (Matt), and Heather. Proud Great-Nana of Jack and Charlotte. Predeceased by her parents Vladimir and Natalija Nesovic, and brothers Dragan Nesovic and Miroslav Nesovic. Olivera will be missed by her extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Olivera moved from Serbia to the United Kingdom, where she met and fell in love with Mirko. Together they started a family, and relocated to Cambridge, Ontario. They enjoyed their life in Canada, and stayed in the Cambridge area. Olivera loved the outdoors, and went camping often. More than anything, she enjoyed her family and was often found making delicious meals for all. Those who were fortunate enough knew what an incredible baker she was, showcased by her Serbian pita.

Visitation will be held at T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main Street, Cambridge) on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held the following day on Friday, April 10, 2026, in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow, and a reception will be hosted at the funeral home following.
