With great sadness, her family announces that Tina passed away peacefully, after a brief illness at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the age of 81.

She is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Muriel Eugene and her siblings Teresa, Iniz, and Agide.

Tina will always be in the hearts of and forever missed by her husband Alcon Francis, her daughter Karen Eugene, and precious granddaughter Jasmine Solomon. She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings back home in the West Indies - Youland, Victoria, Magdalene, Seraphine, Cathrina, Phillippa, Oscar, Mikey, and Anthony and her brother, here in Canada, Ephraim and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Tina left the West Indies to live in England with family when she was a teenager. As a young adult, she immigrated to Canada. Her hobbies included baking, knitting and crocheting but the most important thing in her life was her family.

We were together for such a long time it’s hard to imagine life without her. From Dominica to England to Canada she was my little sister. We shared too many memories for me to list them all, but I will miss her smiling face and happy ways but I know she is at peace with God.

You were known to many as Aunty Tin, and that does not change, even if today you are finally laid to rest, your memories lives on with the many people that you have impacted. I may not have been so close to you, but one of my observation when I was around you, You like to encourage and see the best in others. As for the nails you took absolutely great care of them, always looks beautiful. I remember asking you, is that your own nails? well sad to have to say the goodbye, but may you Rest In Peace and a piece of every word of advice you have given to others will live on, RIP, Aunty Tin. Gone but never forgotten. 🙏🤗.
