Paul was a kind, good friend, brother , uncle and husband, he loved life , exploring and finding shiny things. He would spot hidden treasures everywhere, on the road, in the snow, and amongst the rocks. That's how I will forever see Paul, as a shiny amongst the rocks. We will miss you.

Paul was truly a gentle soul with an infectious smile, such a friendly person. I have pleasant memories of Paul in our younger years camping in Terra Nova Park. My deepest condolences to Paul's family for their loss, everybody's loss.

I remember playing with Paul during my early childhood when our families would go summer camping. Never knew him as an adult but reading his obituary, seems like a guy I would have been friends with.

Condolences to his family. Way too young!

So so sad to hear of Paul's passing. We were reacquainted at Bill's funeral after many many years for which I am grateful. I will cherish the memories of Paul and I running around Terra Nova National Park and people mistaking us for brothers...a fine compliment for me for sure.

We've only known Paul & Mary a short time since they became Second Ave'rs but Paul's infectious good nature and humour brought comfort as a good neighbour and friend. He will be sorely missed on our street as we extend our condolences to Mary & family.

Paul was a good friend for many years. We met back in the 80's.
He showed me how to play guitar, he said that I had to teach myself.
We went on to play together and with friends for many years.
We also did a lot of camping and fishing with friends. Many times we would travel to my home town of Trinity participating in the local way of life. That would also include the local cuisine and Paul sure liked to eat.I will carry forever many happy memories. You will be missed my friend.
God speed.
