Peter Clapham

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Peter Clapham after a courageous battle with Cancer. Peter is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lou (nee Spencer), and his daughters Cori Aitchison (Alan) and Christine Howes (Steve), and predeceased by his son Christopher. Peter was the beloved Grandfather to Nicole Parker, Spencer Howes, Baylee Aitchison and Ethan Aitchison, and Great Grandpa to Alice Parker.

Born in Bradford, England with brother Phil Woodford, Peter loved soccer (Manchester United), Darts, Fishing, Garage Sales and a Big English Breakfast or a quick trip to Farm Boy.

A lifelong career in sales and a love of people left Peter with many customers and friends in the Cambridge Area. At Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place and friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life after the holidays, at the Cambridge Newfoundland Club (1500 Dunbar Rd, Cambridge, ON N1R 6V3), on Sunday, January 7th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event will begin with shared memories at 2:00, with a reception to follow.

The family would like to thank the many health care professionals who helped Peter in recent years: Dr. Healy, the Palliative Care and CCAC teams, as well as Dr. Bernadette McNeil and the outstanding staff of Steadman Hospice-Hankinson House, Brantford.
