Pete is together again with his daughter Ellen (1964) after many years apart. Beloved husband to Joan (Britton), in their 60th year of marriage. Loving dad to Mike (Lynne), Brad (Elizabeth) and Darlene (Frank) VanHoeve. Proud Papa to Jocelyn, Mitchell, Gabrielle, Roberta, Ryan, Nadine, Kayley, Leah, Reuben, Abigail and Nathan. Brother-in-law to Barb Lang, Barb Hannusch and Florence Davidson. Pete is the last surviving member of a large family of eight. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Cedar Hill United Church, 241 Cedar Street, Cambridge at 1:00 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Pete’s memory to Cedar Hill United Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory would be appreciated.
