Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital Kitchener, on Thursday July 10, 2014 in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Josephine Hickey. Loving father of Darlene Keels of Cambridge, Carolyn Colquhoun (Shawn) of Burlington, Susan Keels (Michael Furzer) of Cambridge. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 brothers and 6 sisters. Predeceased by his daughter Catherine Keels, 1 sister and 4 brothers. Peter was born on January 9, 1944 in Bell Island Newfoundland, and has lived in Cambridge for 54 years. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 19th, 2014 from 2-6 P.M. at the Newfoundland Club Cambridge.As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
